But, our agent would always answer my questions as I needed. She works long hours, so any time in the day that I would call she would be available to go over anything that I didn't understand. Recently, I applied on the Lending Tree website to have multiple loan companies compete to refinance the loan on my house. At this point I was very frustrated since I had originally gone to a broker that sold me a loan and when I got the paperwork I noticed the loan was nothing like the loan we had discussed. I quickly shredded the paperwork and called Wells Fargo however they were not able to get me the rates that I thought were acceptable. At this point I was frustrated and began to feel hurried because I was refinancing in order to put a pool in my backyard.

I will be honest I was quite apprehensive doing this all via telephone and e-mail but our agent was always on top of my every need to put me at ease. Being in customer service myself I have high expectations but our agent always exceeded them.

I am not going to candy coat things of course there were a couple things that came up along the process but that should be expected in such a process as a refinance. I wanted to share with you, my experience working with NationsChoice Mortgage. I would like to preface this by saying I rarely take time out to send a letter when an experience is positive, and I have never sent a letter to a mortgage company until now. I have refinanced several times, with experiences in the past that range form mediocre to disastrous. I concede that I can be a difficult customer (as some engineers can be). Originally, we attempted to get an on-line refi rate quote. We were overwhelmed with responses. Our NationsChoice agent's emails and phone message were creative and savvy and she continued to contact us even when everyone else lost interest. She was optimistic and persistent but never pushy.

NationsChoice assisted our family with two refinances concurrently. One was for our primary residence and the other for our second home. Our agent also helped us to "pull" out extra money from one property. I am an active, stay-at-home soccer mom. I have a 6 and 4 year old, a dog and a remodel in progress. I also handle the family finances and manage our vacation rental property. I worked with NationsChoice during the Fall of 2006 to refinance my home. When initiating the process, I looked at on-line options as well as a traditional local broker. I made a few phone calls on a Sunday afternoon and NationsChoice answered my call and provided me with confidence that doing this work with an "on-line" advisor was no different then a local person but also provided significant savings. I am pleased to say that all of this indeed was true.
